Turkey, Day 4 and 5 ..

Bonsoir!
Hello again my readers!
Another story about my vacation in Turkey, I hope you're not get bored.
Well, today I went to another beautiful places... and now another report about it.

Our first stop for today, The Virgin Mary's House in Ephesus.
It was a really nice area, so many trees around the house and you can feel the different atmosphere here.

You can write down your pray on the letter and put it on the wall.
Hhmm... one of them is mine. I hope my prayer will be granted.

So, after that we moved to the ruins of St. John's in Ephesus.
Many people believe that John the Baptist was buried here.

From Ephesus, we moved the next beautiful place.
It's Cotton Castle in Pamukkale. So beautiful and unbelievable.
It's as white as snow, but it isn't snow.
I think it's the nicest place that I have ever visited.

The next day, before we continue the trip to Cappadocia,
the local guide took us to this place, in front of the Cotton Castle to take some nice pictures...
and yes, it was really beautiful and we were the first group who get there.

... and after that, we continued the trip to Cappadocia, it was 9 hours and... by bus.
Thank God that the local guide had some nice movies and he played it along the way to Cappadocia so we don't get bored on the bus. It was 9 hours!

In Konia, before we got to Cappadocia, we went to Mevlana Museum.
It was a mosque, but now it is a museum.
It was a really important place, especially for Moslem people.
They learn about their religion here.

Today was totally hot, it was 40 degrees Celcius.
Jeesh! I am overcooked!

Turkey, Day 3 ..

Aloha!
Today I visited Troia City and the old city of Ephesus.
The heat was ... crazy. It was extremely hot, it felt like hell is already leaked.
Luckily, the scenery was really great, so I think it was worth it.

So, I am sure that all of you already knew the story or history about this Troya Horse ...
two nations, Greece and Spartan, fought over a woman, Helen.
It is so funny to imagine that since thousands years ago man willing to fight for the sake of
fighting over a woman, just like today's.
Ckckck...

You can see that some of the ruins are the original from the first era of Troia city.

me and my mom ^.^

I really like my sunnies, it is so comfortable to wear under the sunlight.
Seriously protecting my eyes from massive sunlight, UV and dust.
The bracelet, I bought it from the souvenir shop in front of the enormous Troya horse.
The cost is 7 TL (Turkish Lira). I like it a lot.

And now ... Welcome to the Old City of Ephesus.
A place where you can not hide from the sunlight.

When I got there, it was in the evening and ... woww! Seriously HOT and dusty.
For us, Asian people, especially Indonesian, we don't make friends with sunlight,
because we already have brown skin and the sunlight only makes our skin become darker
and we don't like it.
Our local guide told us about the Russians, they often came to Ephesus city and stayed
in the same hotel for 2 weeks. Everyday, they just basking under the sun because they don't get enough
sunlight in their country, Russia has longer winter season than another country.

Can you see the famous Nike logo from this angel statue??

These are the beautiful view from my hotel room.
Ephesus is one of my favorite city in Turkey.
Well, you'll like it to when you came here someday...
I think you have to go there someday, it's a must visit place on earth!

Oooh, goshh! This place is so beautifullll!!

Turkey, Day 1 and 2 ..

Hollaaa, my dearest readers!!
How are you ??
Now I am back! Yes, I am home now.
After 10 days of amazing and full of fun vacation in Turkey,
now it is my time to share the fun experiences with all of you.

DAY 1

Our first stop was in Changi Airport, Singapore for 2 hours transit.
The boutiques and duty free shop was so tempting. Haha!
It's almost midnight, but they're still open.
Yeah, I think most of them are open for 24 hours.

DAY 2

Finally, after 12 hours on the plane, we're arrived in Istanbul, Turkey.
I was so happy and excited. Can't wait to explore the beautiful places in this country.
From the Ataturk Havalimani Airport, we went to Aya Sofya Museum.
It was a church --- mosque --- and now it is a museum.
That's why you can see Jesus Christ mozaic and calligraphy in the same place.
It is a great place to visit.

After Aya Sofya Museum, we visited The Blue Mosque.
Why they call it blue mosque?
Because, from the inside you can see that the mosque's wall are covered
with 21.000 blue handmade ceramics. Beautiful.

... about the look... I was wearing de Reich floppy hat,
unbranded gold collar necklace, loose top and disco leggings,
Bao Bao bag by Issey Miyake,
and black wedges from Shoe Corner.

After that, we had lunch, the restaurant was not too far away from the mosque.
We ate soup with bread, roasted chicken and rice and then watermelon.
The foods was quite tasty, although some of us didn't really like it, but me,
honestly, I think it was a really nice and yummy.

After lunch, we are heading to our hotel in Canakkale.
To get there, we have to travel for few hours by bus and crossing the huge lake by ferry.
Along the road, you can see the nice yellow color because the Turkish people planted sunflowers.

It was pretty hot and windy.
The local guide said that it was Turkey's normal temperature.
Fyi, it was around 35-40 Celcius degrees.
Insane.
